Pattern: Jane Cowl

I'm so happy to share the last pattern in my free collection of knitting patterns: the Jane Cowl!  Jane is a simple cowl that uses two colors of bulky weight yarn and gives you a chance to add of great techniques into your knitting tool box.  I wanted to create something that was easy to wear and customize (hello, endless color combinations) while also giving a fledgling knitter some new skills and confidence with a seamless finished product.

The suggested yarn for Jane is Quince and Co. Puffin, which is a beautiful, lofty yarn that's available in an almost endless array of colors.  I had a hard time choosing which ones to go with for my Jane sample, but ended up with Honey and Egret.  I've had a huge crush on Honey since I first laid eyes on its golden goodness and photos do not do it justice.  Here are some other color combinations that I think would be totally killer:

Top row: slate + clay // Middle row: shell + peacoat // Bottom row: pomegranate + petal

The cowl is super easy to wear, and I'm looking forward to pulling mine out for the fall season!  You can download the Jane Cowl pattern here or on my Ravelry page, along with the other two patterns in my Beginnings collection, Lane and Penny.  Happy knitting, friends!
